#AndMe Miranda Hart campaign entices animal lovers
Comedian and TV personality Miranda Hart's new novel Peggy & Me has generated incredible coverage on social media since its launch on the 20th July.
Peggy & Me, which was formally announced in March, is a book packed with anecdotes from Hart about life with her shih tzu–bichon frise cross, Peggy.
As part of the campaign to launch and promote the book, Hodder & Stoughton, the publishers, have launched an initiative to get fans to tweet and send in pictures of them and their favourite companion with the #AndMe hashtag which will enter them into a competition where the best stories will be illustrated and feature in a special "And Me" e-book.
There have been a variety of submissions, one of the best so far featuring a woman and her pet duck.
If you haven't already #AndMe'd then I would highly recommend doing so.
P.S. Your companion doesn't have to be furry. Humans can count too.
Peggy and Me will hit shelves on 6th October 2016. Miranda's previous book, Is It Just Me? was also published by Hodder & Stoughton.
